Namibia: Vorsitzender des HSA tödlich verunglückt

 

Windhoek/Mariental (Namibia) • Bereits Ende August 2014 verstarben bei einem Verkehrsunfall in Namibia drei Personen, darunter der Vorsitzende des Pro-Apartheid-Vereins »Hilfskomitee Südliches Afrika« (HSA), Ralph Schroeder (80), dessen Ehefrau Ulla (78), bis vor kurzem noch Vorsitzende des »Traditionsverbandes ehemaliger Schutz- und Überseetruppen / Freunde der früheren deutschen Schutzgebiete e.V.« und ein Begleiter. Laut Presseberichten war die Reisegruppe mit insgesamt drei Fahrzeugen unterwegs, um in Lüderitzbucht »an den Beginn des Ersten Weltkriegs« zu gedenken.
Schroeder war bereits seit 2003 stellvertretender, ab 2011 Erster Vorsitzender des HSA, einem von NPD-Funktionären dominierten Verein mit Sitz in Coburg (Bayern). Schatzmeister ist bereits seit der Gründung 1975 der langjährige Herausgeber der Nation Europa, Peter Dehoust. Auch Personen aus dem Umfeld des NSU besaßen Kontakte zum HSA, darunter Tino Brandt, der 1999 mit dem HSA nach Südafrika reiste und dort an Schießübungen teilnahm.

Windhoek/Mariental (Namibia) • At he end of August 2014 three persons were killed in a heavy car crash in Namibia: the German citizen Ralph Schroeder (80), chairman of the pro-apartheid organisation »Hilfskomitee Südliches Afrika« (HSA; Southern Africa Help Committee), his wife Ulla (78), who was the chairwoman of the militaristic and colonial era nostalgic »Traditionsverband ehemaliger Schutz- und Überseetruppen / Freunde der früheren deutschen Schutzgebiete e.V.« (‚Traditional association of former protectional and oversea troops / Friends of the former German protectorates‘) and a third companion from Namibia. According to Media reports the group of three cars was on its way to commemorate »the beginning of the First World War« in Lüderitzbucht, a small town in the south of Namibia.
Schroeder had been vice-chairman of the Southern Africa Help Committee from 2003 to 2011, when he became chairman of the HSA, an association dominated by NPD members in Coburg (Bavaria). Its well known treasurer since the foundation in 1975 is the former editor of the neo-fascist magazine Nation & Europa, Peter Dehoust. Tino Brandt, a Nazi with direct contacts to the nazi-terrorists of NSU in the 1990ies, also had contacts to the HSA. Brandt traveled to the Republic of South Africa in 1999 on a journey arranged by the HSA where he attended weapons training.
